About

Created in 1966 (Ordinance No. 66-366 of December 29, 1966) and with the promulgation of Law 90.10 of April 14, 1990 relating to Money and Credit, the C.P.A became a Public Economic Company.

According to its statutes, the CPA is a commercial and universal bank, its mission is to promote the development of the BTPH, the sectors of health and medicine, trade and distribution, hotels and tourism, media, SMEs/SMIs and crafts.

The share capital of the CPA, today amounts to 48 billion dinars, with a banking network that covers the entire national territory with 158 agencies supervised by 15 operating groups.

The commercial strategy of the CPA is based on the diversification of its banking offer in all segments (individual, business, professional), with in particular the marketing of a wide range of banking products and services dedicated to the promotion of very small, small or medium-sized enterprises and start-ups, labeled “SME by CPA”, as well as the recent launch of a new activity dedicated to Islamic Finance in accordance with the precepts of the Shari’a.

It is also important to emphasize the CPA’s commitment to continuing the dynamics of modernization and digitization already initiated through the development of new modern means of payment (domestic and international bank cards), remote banking with the new “E-banking CPA” platform and the “CPA mobile Banking” application.
