In November 2024, five laboratories covering a surface of 1,200 m² at ANPP (Cheraga) were inaugurated, completed by CIME in partnership with PHARMA CLEAN.
Since 2024, CIME has been carrying out turnkey projects in collaboration with the Tunisian company PHARMA CLEAN TUNISIA, which specializes in the design, manufacturing, and installation of cleanrooms for various sectors—particularly the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, hospital, agri-food industries, as well as laboratories and clinics.

Hygienic Air Handling Unit (AHU)
Air handling units are integrated with HVAC systems to help achieve greater energy efficiency and improve air quality. Trane air handling units allow full customization for each application, ensuring an exact fit for all requirements.

Dynamic or static pallet pass box
Pallet Pass Box with modular HPL panels (48 mm thick) or modular metallic panels (60 mm thick). Each side features a door constructed with an S15 anodized aluminum or lacquered frame, and a 6 mm thick vacuum-sealed double-glazed safety glass vision panel, fully flush with the aluminum. All internal profiles of the pass box have smooth, rounded corners on both the interior and exterior sides, facilitating easy cleaning. The groove radius is between 50 and 60 mm. The S15 anodized or lacquered aluminum profiles allow for clip-on assembly, both between profiles and with the panels, using invisible joints. The finish is completely flush, sealed with 2 mm food-grade silicone, ensuring easy maintenance and effective disinfection. Each door is equipped with two pairs of rounded anodized aluminum hinges, with four-point adjustment (right, left, up, and down). The locking mechanism uses a recessed piston latch. A filtration box with fan system is integrated to maintain a sterile environment in the case of dynamic pass boxes. Locking System: Timed interlocking system Adjustable interlock delay (between 0 and 30 seconds), integrated into the door or panel structure Audible buzzer on door opening, along with status indicators on each side: Red: Access denied Green: Access granted In the event of a power failure, the system remains operational via a 12V battery for a minimum of 5 hours. After that, both doors are automatically released. Doors are operated via a push-button switch on each side.

Pharmaceutical-grade HPL door, single and double leaf
The 48 mm thick HPL doors are composed of an anodized aluminum structure (S15) or lacquer-painted finish, a core made of injected polyurethane or rock wool, and 4 mm compacted HPL resin sheets on both sides, providing a smooth, flush finish. All anodized or lacquer-painted aluminum profiles feature smooth, rounded corners on both interior and exterior surfaces, making cleaning and disinfection easier. The rounded shape of the aluminum profile prevents microorganism retention areas and enhances the construction’s aesthetics, with groove radii between 50 and 60 mm and a 30 mm aluminum cover strip. The doors are equipped with drop-down seals to ensure relative airtightness against internal and external air pressure. Each door leaf is fitted with three rounded anodized aluminum hinges, each with four adjustment points (right, left, up, and down), and comes with a rounded stainless steel handle, with or without a stainless steel locking system depending on usage. Two semi-fixed stainless steel bolts, fully flush with the aluminum, are also included. The door profiles are assembled using a clipping system, both between profiles and to the panels, using concealed profiles that contribute to structural integrity, airtightness, and ease of maintenance or repair. A double-glazed safety glass viewing window (6 mm thickness) is installed with an aluminum inner frame. The window is completely flush with the HPL door panel and includes a vacuum channel.

Dynamic or static pass box
Pass Box with modular HPL panels (48 mm thick) or modular metallic panels (60 mm thick). Each side features a door composed of an S15 anodized aluminum or lacquered painted frame, with a 6 mm thick double-glazed safety glass vision panel, fully flush with the aluminum. All internal profiles of the pass box have smooth, rounded corners, both inside and outside, to facilitate cleaning. The groove radius is between 50 and 60 mm. The S15 anodized or lacquered aluminum profiles allow for interlocking assembly using clip-on systems. The connection with the panels is made through invisible profiles, also clipped flush, and sealed with 2 mm food-grade silicone joints, making cleaning and disinfection easier. Each door is equipped with two pairs of rounded aluminum hinges, each hinge offering four adjustment points (right, left, up, and down). The door locks with a recessed piston latch. A filtration unit with a fan system is included to create a sterile environment for dynamic pass boxes. The panels are secured together with anodized aluminum profiles. The aluminum profiles allow for flush assembly between two partition and false ceiling panels, with a 2mm food-grade silicone seal for easy cleaning and disinfection. All anodized or lacquered aluminum profiles have smooth, rounded corners on the inside and outside, making them easy to clean. The smooth surface of the aluminum facilitates cleaning and disinfection. The rounded shape of the anodized aluminum profile avoids Micro Organ retention areas and contributes to the aesthetics of the construction.

Cleanroom with metal panels
The modular metal panels consist of a core made of polyurethane or rock wool, and 0.5/0.6 mm thick sheet metal plates coated with epoxy paint on both sides. The panels are available in thicknesses ranging from 60 mm to 100 mm, suitable for partition walls and false ceilings. The panels are joined together using anodized aluminum profiles. These aluminum profiles allow for a flush assembly between two wall or ceiling panels, with a 2 mm food-grade silicone seal, making cleaning and disinfection easier. All anodized or lacquer-painted aluminum profiles feature smooth, rounded corners on both the interior and exterior surfaces to facilitate cleaning. The smooth surface of the aluminum simplifies both cleaning and disinfection. The rounded design of the anodized aluminum profiles prevents retention areas for microorganisms and contributes to the overall aesthetic of the construction.

Automatic HPL swing door with single or double leaves
The 48 mm thick HPL doors are made of an S15 anodized aluminum or lacquered painted structure, with an injected polyurethane or rock wool core, and 4 mm thick compacted HPL resin panels on both sides, providing a smooth and flush finish. All anodized or painted aluminum profiles feature smooth, rounded corners on both the interior and exterior, making cleaning and disinfection easier. The door includes a rounded stainless-steel handle, with or without a stainless-steel locking block depending on the application, as well as two semi-fixed stainless-steel bolts that are completely flush with the aluminum. A 6 mm thick double-glazed safety vision panel is installed, with an internal aluminum frame. Electric Motor: Swing door automation motor with sliding drive arm, allowing the door to open and close. Hermetic sliding door
The 48mm thick HPL sliding doors are made of an anodized aluminum structure (S15) or lacquered paint, with an M1 class polyurethane core injected and 4mm HPL resin panels compressed on both sides. All anodized aluminum profiles or lacquered paint profiles have smooth rounded corners on the inside and outside, which facilitates cleaning and disinfection. The rounded shape of the aluminum profile prevents the retention of microorganisms and contributes to the aesthetic appearance of the construction. The doors are equipped with seals around the door frame and guillotine seals to ensure airtightness in relation to the internal and external air pressure. Unintentional opening commands are triggered by infrared proximity sensors on each side. The leaf is free in case of sector failure. The porthole is fully flush with the HPL door panel. Electric motor: Sliding automation motor allowing the door to open and close. Operation type: motorized opening and closing. Operating temperature: -20°C / +50°C. Opening time: adjustable between 3 to 6 seconds. Closing time: adjustable between 3 to 6 seconds. Door open pause time: adjustable between 1.5 to 30 seconds. Power supply: 220V. Consumption: max 75W. Accessory power supply: 24V / 400mA max including wiring. An integrated obstacle detector in the system allows the door to return to its initial state when an obstacle is detected (during both closing and opening).
