Dzhilla
Dzhilla syrup contains a mixture of dried figs and prunes (puree) –1.4 g, which contain fiber and pectin. Fiber increases osmotic pressure in the intestinal lumen, retains water, and thus increases the volume of feces. Pectin has a laxative effect, which is associated with the lubricating and softening action of dietary fiber on the intestinal contents, facilitating their movement through the intestines. Therefore, the process of defecation will be gentle and painless. Senna leaves, on the other hand, stimulate intestinal peristalsis, which can cause quite intense pain, cramps, and abdominal discomfort.
