Ing. Sara Masmoudi   (TUNISIA)

Sara Masmoudi is the Managing Director of TERIAK Laboratories in Tunisia, a rapidly growing family-owned pharmaceutical manufacturer that is currently growing in sub-Saharan Africa. Since November 2017, Sara has also been president of the Tunisian Pharmaceutical Industry Council.

Pr. Amor Toumi, PhD (TUNISIA)

39 years of experience in teaching pharmacology, managing pharmaceutical administration, managing a national drug control laboratory and an anti-doping center, managing WHO collaboration centers, participation at the global level (WHO in Geneva) in support of drug regulatory authorities, the fight against counterfeit drugs and the official council of health ministers in Tunisia.

Dr Hakim Boudis </br> (ALGERIA)

Hakim Boudis is a lecturer in pharmacy in the field of analytical chemistry, expert in the pharmaceutical industry at the Algerian Ministry of Health and was recently elected dean of the Faculty of Sciences of Algiers.

Dr Mahmoud Bach Hamba (TUNISIA)

Former head of the Tunisian Agency for importers of medicines, then inspector of the Ministry of Health, industrial director of TERIAK Laboratories, Mahmoud is now the CEO of SOPHIDIS, a major supplier of packaging and pharmaceutical machines in North Africa .

Mr. Moulay-Hachim Alaoui (MOROCCO)

Hachim is the head of the international department of SOTHEMA. He is responsible for expanding the company’s international presence in Europe, in the GCC countries and in Africa. SOTHEMA is one of the first North African companies to have built a wholly-owned subsidiary in sub-Saharan Africa (West Africa Pharma in Senegal).

Dr Nabil Mellah </br> (ALGERIA)

Former President of the Algerian National Union of Pharmacy Operators (UNOP), Nabil Mellah is the Director General of MERINAL, a large Algerian pharmaceutical laboratory ranked n ° 3 with an annual turnover of € 50 million which recently inaugurated the building a new € 15 million factory in the country.

Dr Yacine Sellam </br>(ALGERIA)

Pharm.D, Ph.D., former regulatory assessor and permanent secretary of the Drug Pricing Committee at the Algerian Ministry of Health. Yacine is now responsible for vaccine projects and public-private partnerships at the Institut Pasteur in Algeria.

Mr. Danny Mutembe (RWANDA)


Danny Mutembe is at the forefront of the fastest growing pharmaceutical industry in the healthcare industry in East Africa with 17 years of experience. He is the founder and CEO of MD Conseil Medical Supply and managing partner of Pharmacie Conseil created in 1983 (www.pharmacieconseil.org) in Kigali – Rwanda by his father, a former industrial pharmacist. Member of the Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers of East Africa and President of the Rwandan Association of Community Pharmacy (APPOR).
Danny is also a founding member and advisor to the Rwandan Healthcare Federation (RHF); Chairman of the Board of Directors of Heritage Medical Park and member of the Board of Directors of the Africa Healthcare Federation, the East African Health Platform, the East Africa Healthcare Federation, the Rwanda Healthcare Federation, the Rwanda Biomedical Center ( RBC), King Faysal Hospital (KFH) and Ubuzima Foundation among others.
Danny is also a lecturer at the University of Rwanda and an external examiner at Mount Kenya University (MKU); and a consultant in the pharmaceutical sector for local, regional and international organizations.
He holds a master’s degree in pharmaceutical engineering and industrial technology from the Catholic University of Louvain (UCL) Brussels – Belgium where he received the Willy LHOEST prize in pharmaceutical engineering and technology.
