The ValProbe RM (Real-Time Monitoring) system uses advanced wireless data loggers designed for pharmaceutical and biotech environments. It combines modern RF technology, efficient battery management, and secure data handling for accurate, repeatable environmental and facility monitoring.

The system features compact wireless data loggers with two digital sensor ports for flexible measurement of parameters such as temperature and humidity. A display-free option is available where a local interface is not required.

Operating at 2.4 GHz, the system uses a proprietary dual-antenna architecture to create a scalable star network. Each base station supports up to 50 wireless data loggers with approximately 900 ft (300 m) line-of-sight coverage. Multiple base stations can connect via Ethernet and integrate with LabWatch IoT using industry-standard protocols. Actual RF range depends on structural barriers and interference.

Each logger stores up to 100,000 samples per sensor, providing approximately 10 weeks of data at one-minute intervals. Local buffering protects data during network disruptions. During power failures, the system automatically switches to battery operation, while the gateway can retain up to 30 days of data locally. Stored data is synchronized to the cloud when connectivity is restored.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-recognized standards. Secure authentication, key management, configurable access controls, tamper protection, and time-stamped audit trails help protect data integrity and support GxP requirements.

Two digital sensor ports support temperature, humidity, and other measurements. Each sensor stores its calibration data, enabling replacement without interrupting monitoring. Automatic sensor detection and eSignature verification support traceability and GxP compliance. Sensors can be recalibrated at ISO/IEC 17025-accredited service centres.
